Privacy, in plain language.
What we collect
We store your name, email, email verification status, account creation date, privacy acknowledgement, and email update preference. A phone or WhatsApp number is optional. We record when your update preference changes.
How we use it
We use account details to provide member access and respond to support requests. If you opt in, we may email you Hashnet news and community updates. Choosing not to receive updates does not affect access. Adding a phone number does not subscribe you to phone or WhatsApp marketing.
Services that help run the hub
Supabase provides account verification and database storage. Our email delivery provider sends verification codes. Bunny Stream delivers video when you load a player. The hosting provider serves the website, and Cloudflare Turnstile helps prevent automated abuse. These providers may process connection details such as IP address, browser information, and operational logs.
Cookies and video playback
We use session cookies to keep you signed in. We do not add advertising trackers or analytics. The Bunny player loads only when you choose to load a video and may store settings needed for playback.
Your choices
You can edit your name and optional phone number and withdraw your email update preference in My account. Contact support to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information. We may ask you to verify ownership of the account before acting.
Retention
Account details are retained while you use the hub. The operator reviews inactive accounts annually and removes information no longer needed. When an account is deleted, its profile and preference history are removed from the active database; provider backups and security logs follow their own retention schedules.
Before registration opens
The operator will confirm the applicable legal basis, service providers, data processing locations and transfer safeguards, retention arrangements, and how to raise a privacy complaint in the final launch notice.
